As part of our ongoing continuous improvement process and in order to meet your needs, we have made significant changes to the way we manage our terms of use and privacy policy on our e-learning platform. The aim of this modification, that has already been deployed, is to simplify the user experience, while improving data protection transparency.
A clear distinction between the general conditions and privacy policy
We have separated the General Conditions of Use from the Privacy and Data Protection Policies. Now learners can accept each policy separately. This added flexibility will improve intelligibility and enable your users to sign up with full knowledge of the facts.
If either policy is refused, the system will log the user out, as is currently the case. The two documents can be accessed directly from the user profile via separate links, ensuring consultation at any time.
A consent log for better traceability
A new page for super admins will display acceptances and refusals for each policy type. Information is set out clearly and can be exported in CSV format, thereby simplifying audits and complying with regulatory requirements.
This function is perfect for companies seeking to ensure strict compliance with regulations, such as GDPR and other local data protection laws. In just one click, you can access accurate data that can be exploited for internal and external audits.
Streamlined modification management
We have also taken this opportunity to provide a new function: terms of use misprints can now be corrected without necessarily republishing them to your users. A simple spelling error will no longer require requesting new consent, thereby avoiding unnecessary disruptions and preserving the user experience.
Availability & support
Please contact your CSM if you would like to activate this new function. Our support teams are at hand to answer all of your questions and to provide you with support.
