After the forum feature, here is Teach on Mars’ latest innovation to accentuate the app’s social learning dimension: the Wall.
Turn your learners into ambassadors
For the training manager, the Wall offers a new space to communicate with learners and create genuine social interaction. This feature can be used to send out communications in a variety of formats including text, web links, images and videos. In exactly the same way as on the social networks, if the digital learning manager so wishes, learners will be able to react to these posts using:
- theLike button to like or support a communication
- the Share button to share the communication on their personal social networks of choice: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
In addition to communications, the Wall can display learner challenges sent by other users. In either case, the digital learning manager can choose to generate push notifications at each posting.
A key tool as part of an overall social learning strategy
Are you looking to create a more involving experience for your learner community? Thanks to the Wall feature with its social dimension, users will be encouraged to spend more time on their Teach on Mars app. Meanwhile, for the training manager, it will be possible to monitor statistics on learners’ social behaviour patterns via the Mission Center. That way, for instance, those displaying the greatest levels of involvement can be rewarded to reinforce their motivation and foster even deeper engagement across your learner community.
In parallel, the Wall can also be used to facilitate and enhance your training programmes, for example by sending notifications to users when a new training component intended for them is published, or to invite learners to participate in a discussion on the forum.
The Wall is available right now. To find out more, get in touch and we’ll be happy to help!
